RESOLUTION HQNO'RrNG SUPERVISOR GILMAN FOR HIS
SERV~CES AS CHAIRMAN OF TF3E BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
WHEREAS, Supervisor GiZman has served the people of the
County of Butte with distinction as Chairman of the Board of 5uper-
. visors of the County of Butte throu.ghout 7.972, and _
WH~REAS, Supervisor Gilma.n conducted the meetings of the
Board of Superv3.sors in a fair and impartial manner yet with a
salutary degree of ~irmness whxch 1ed to a more proficient resolu-
tion of the publi~ business bq this Baard.
WHEREAS, this Board wishes to express its appreciation for
Supervisor Gilman's conscientious"and effective efforts as Chairman
of ~this Board during 1972. ~ ~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that'this Board:
~1. Expresses its sincere appreciation to Supervisor Gilman
for his outstanding services as Chairman of the Baard duri ng the
year 1972. ' -

sented to Supervisor Gilman as an expression"o£ this Board's respec~t
