WHEREAS, pursuant to the said Emergency 'Services A'~:~ and
Chapter 8 of the Butte Caunty Code, the Board of Supervisors af
the Caunty of Butte desires to adopt a plan fo"r emergency services
within the County of Butte, and
WHEREAS, the purposes of the said F~--ergency P1an a~e ~.o
pravide for the effective mobi~ization of a11 of the resources ot
Butte County, both public and private, to meet any condition
constituting a local emergency, state af emergency or sta~.e o~ war
emergency, and sha11 provide for the organization, powers and duties,
services, and staff of the eme~gency organization, and
WHEREAS, the pl.an a~tached hereto as Exhibit "A" has been
prepared for the said purposes and conforms ~a the State of California
~nergency PJ.an and the National bnergency P1an.
NOW, TI~EEREFORE, BE zT RESOLVEA that the IInergency Plan
attack~ed kzereta as ~chibit f°.A" sha7.I be and is~ hereby adopted
as the Coun.ty of Butte Eme~gency Plano
BE IT FURTHER R~SOLVED tkiat a copy of th.is ResaJ.ution and
the attached_'Exhibit "Ate sha11 be forwarded immediately by the
Deputy Director, Butte Caunty Civil Disaster, to the California
State Office of Emergency Services and to other affected County
officers and departments.
