Wf~EREAS, on April ~0 , 1973, the County Su.rveyor-Director of Public Works o~ th.is County presented to this Board a map entitled "Skyway Assessment Distric-t' No::- 1,'! and. said:-~map showed a boundary 1.ine enclosing an. area a.~. -~his Cou~ty, and WHEREAS, on Apri1 ~0 , 1g73, this Bpard adopted its Resolu- -~ion No.,7,3-61 and therein approved said map, and therein granted ~he name "Sk.yway Assessmen-~ District No. 1 " to the area in. this County shown en.closed by said bound.ary line on said map, and WHEREAS, this Board desires -to construct work and improvements bene~i-~ing said assessment district and desires to acquire all rights o~' way, p3.aces and properties necessary for constructing said work and improvements all under a lawful declaration that the public conven5.ence an.d necessity require the same, and WI~REAS, th.is Board desires to assess all of the costs and expenses of said work and improvements and the cost of any acquisi- tions necessary therefor on the District of lands men-~ion~d herein- above, to w.i~, said Skyway Assessment Distr.ic~ No. 1 1~TOW mHEREFORE, RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVT~ORS OF THE COUNTY OF BITTTE: ~.. That th.is Board hereby preliminarily d.etermin.es that ~he public convenience arid necessity require that the County of Butte construct a Storm Drainage System and a San.i~ary Sewer Pipe~.ine with all necessary appurtena~ces ~or the benefit af the area in this County tha~ this Board by its Resolution No. 73-61 has de- signated as Skyway Assessment District ~o. 1 and that said public oonvenience and necessity require that the County of Butte cons~ruc~ curbs and gutters on the street withzn said distric~ known as The Skyway and to acquire al1 right of way, places and prope~ties necessary for constructing the same.
