A special County bond election be and the same is hereby called to be held thraughout Butte Countq on _July_,_17,,rI973 _, for the p~rpase of submitting to the qualified e1eC~ors of the County . ~ _ _ _ : ~ __ __ ' - the proposition of incurring bonded indebtedness of ~the County for the purposes and in the amount set forth in the fo7.lowing measure, to wit: COUNTY BOND MEl~SURE MEASURE (A): Shall the County of Butte incur (County Hospi~al a bonded indebtedness in the prin- Buildings) cipal amou.nt of $ 5~000,000:00 ~' ~ Bonds for the ob~ect an~purpose 'o'~ -Yes acquiring, constructi.ng and contempleting the following county improvement= ~o wit: New pu.bl.ic county buildings and impravements and additio,ns to exa.sting public cqunty buildings for the Cofu~.ty Hospi~al; lands, ease~tents, rights-of-way,.off-street parking facilitfes' fuxni- ture, fixtures, equipment, apparatus and si~e improvements for said buildings; and ather works, Bonds ', property or structures necessary or convenien~ for -Na ', said county improvement; any bond issued ~rherefor ' to mature within a period.not to exceed thirty , years?"' Section 2.t: (a) The Board does hereby submit to the qualified electors of ~the Coun~ty at the special. County bond ele~~ion said Coc~nty measu~e for the issuance of said bonds, and hereby designates and ref ers ~o said measure in the f orm hereinabove set forth as the measure fio be set forth on tl~e ballots hereinafter prescribed for use at the special County bond electiono (b) ~`he special County bond election shall be held and conducted, and the votes thereat received and canvassed, a.n.d the returns thereof made and the result thereof ascertained and determined as herein provided, and in all particulars not prescribed by this resolu~ion and ard.er said election shall be he7.d as nearly as practicable in conformity with the election laws of the Sta~e of California and only qualified voters of the County may vote thereat. (c} The special County bond eI.ec~tion hereby called shali be and is hereby consolidated with the special election called by the Board of Supervisors of the County of But,te by Ordi.nance 2. 1347 to be held ~ehroughout the Caunty on ~,L~,~y_ ~]a_1973~~, all a s required by and pursuant ~o law; and the aI.ection. preci.nets, polling places and voting booths shal.~. in every case be the same and there shalZ be on.ly ane set af election officers in each of such pr~cinctso The election precincts~ po~ling places and officers of election for the special County bond electio.n shall be the same as those designa~ed for said special election in ~he notice of polling places and eJ.ectian officers for said special election to be publiskzed by the County Clerk pursuant to law, ~o which notice reference is he~eby specifically made far a designation of the precincts, polling places and election otficers for the special County bond election. The po11.s for said special election ar~d for the special county bond election hereby co.nsolida~ed ~herewith sha11 be opened at 7:OO,aomo on the date of said elections and sha11 be kept open until 8:00 p,m. o~ said day, when the polls shall be closed, except as provided in Elections Code §14436. (d) On].y one form of ballot shall be used at said special election and the specia~. If at the Special County Bond Election 2/3 of the electors of the Cvunty voting on said County Bond Measc~re (.~) vote in favor of it, then bonds in an amou.nt not exceeding the amount specified in saad measure may be issued for the pu.rpose set forth in the measure.
