W~iEREAS, the Governing Board of the Paradise Unified 5chool
District has passed a resolution calling a bond election on Julp ].7,
1973, and has ~equested the Board of Supervisors of the Coun~y' of
Butte to order the consolidation o~ the said school district bo.nd
election with. the county hospital char~er amendment, bond and tax
override election to be held on Tuesday, July 17, 1973;
NOW, THER~FOR~, B~ IT ORDERED AND RESOLVED by the Board of Super-
visors of the County of Butte, Sta~e of California as follows:
l, That the bond election called by the Paradise Unified School
District for July 17, 1973 sha13. be and the same is hereby consoJ.~.dated
with the county hospital charter amendment, bond and ~ax override
el.ection ~o be held Ju1y ~.7, 19730
2. That in the area affected by ~his consolida~ion order the
election shall be held in all respec~s as though there were only one
election and the County Clerk of Butte Coun.ty is hereby ordered and
directed to provide accordingly, within the territory affected by
said consolidation, the eleetim precincts, polli.ng places and voting
booths for each of said elections hereby consolidated and to provide
tor only one set ot election o~ficers in each of the precincts
affected by this consolidatian ordero
3. That the County Clerk is further ordered and directed ~to
set forth in each farm of ballot and sample ballot, to be used in
saicl consolidated election, insofar as applicable, the ballot measure
for said Paradise Unified School District bond election, to ma3.1 to
the quaJ.a.fa.ed e7.e~~ars of said school dist~ic~r appropriate sample
ballots and golling place cards signed by sa;id County Clerk rela~ing
ORDE12 AND RESOLLT'TIQN PROV2D~NG FOR THE CON~OLIDAT~ON
OF PARADISE UNI~IED SCHQOL DTSTRICT BOND ELECTION
AND COU~ITY HOSPITAL ELECTION TO BE HELD NLY 17, 1973
to said school distrxct bond election and to provide absen~ vo~er
ballots for said county hospital election and said school dzstrict
bond election consolidated therewith far use by qualified ele~tors
of said school d~s~rict who may be entitled thereto as provided by
lawo #
/~. That the County Clerk shal~ canvass ox~ cause to be canvassed
the returns of said school district bond election and sha11 certify
such canvass of the votes cast for each bond proposition to the
Paradise Unified School District Governing Board and to the Butte
County Board ot Supervisors.
5, 'That the County Clerk is ~urkher authorized to charge to
the Paradise Un~.fied School District the expenses of the election
attribu~table to said districto
