Government Code of tlze S~ate of Cali~ornia, the Board o~ 5upervisors of Butte
County has expressed the intention to consider the a.nstitution of pxoceedings
to establish County Service Area No. 1+9 wi~hin the Cour~ty of Butte; and
>~I-IEREl~S, the LOCAL AGEFTCY FORI~TION COMi+IISSION of the County of
Butte has by Resolution No. 73-4 approved the establishment of said Service
Area No. 49;
NOW, THII~EF'OFtE, BE TT ~?ESOLVE- by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, as follolas:
1. That a county service area~is proposed to be established under
the ~terms of the a~oresaid cha~ter in the unincorporated area of Butte County;
the boundary lines of the territories proposed for inclusion in ~he area are
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof by reference as though fu11.y set forth verbatim and at length.
2. That the name proposed for said county service area is County
Service Area No. 49.
3. That there are no extended co~mty services provided in this area.
/~.. That the types of extended county services proposed to be
provided in this area is ins~allation of street lightzng located within the
botYndaries o£ the area described herein.
5. That a ta~ suffzcient to pay for such services which are furr.ishecl
on an extended basis ~~ill be annually levied upon all ~axabJ.e property within.
such area.
6. That on ~Tr,~~ 26 ~ , 1973, at 1: 3~ P•m •t a public
hearing will be held on th.e es~abZishm~nt of said area.
