R~SOI.~UTION MAKING APPLICATION TO LOCA~ AGLNCY
FORME~TIOTI CONIl''IISSIOIV FOR EXTENSIOIV OF AUTHORIZED
SERVIC~S WITHIN COUNTY ~ERVICE AREA 47
WHEREAS, ~he Board of Supervisors of the County of
&stte has heretofore established County :5er~rice Area No. 47,
which service area 9.s authorized to provid'e storm drain maintenance,
and
WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors intends to consider
a proposal for the extension of the authorized services of
County Service .A,rea No. 47 to include provision of street lighting
and desires to i.ni~iate a proceeding for said extension pursuant
to Article 3 of Chapter 2,2 of Part 2, Division 2, TitZe 3 of
the Government Code ~commen.cing with Section 25210030), and
WHER~AS pxior to the adoption of a resolution of
intention to provide said additional extended services within said
service area it is necessary and desirab~e to apply to the Butte
County Local Agency Formation Commission for its review and
approval or disapproval of the proposal to provide additional
extended services.
NOW, TH~REFORE, SE IT RESOLVED and ordered by the
Butte County Board of Supervisors as follows:
1. Application and a proposal is hereby made to the
Butte co~n~y ~.o~~i Agency Formation Commission far the extension
of th.e authorized services of County Service Area Noo 47 to
incl.ude street l.ighting,
2, The Clerk of the Board is authorized and directed
to file a certified copy of this resolution with fihe ~Secutive
Offi~er of tYr.e Butte County Local Agency Formation Commissionq
