the Board of Supertrisors of the County o~ Butte, State o£ Cal.ifornia,
adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice of Intenti.on to Establish
a County Service Area to be entitled "COUN'TY' SE~'V'IC~ AREA N0. 49"; and
WH~REAS, said Resolution fixed the 26th day of June ~
1973, at 1:30 p,,mo, o£ said day, in the Soard o£ Supervisors Room
of the Butte County Courthause, in the City of Orovi7.le, State of
California, as the time and place ~'or the public hearing on the
establishment o~ said area; and
WHEREAS, said Board, at said time and place, proceeded ~ro
hear a~gwnents bath for and against the establishment of said area;
a nd
WHEREAS, na written protests against tk~e establishment
thereof were filed in accordance with §25210,I7 o.f the Government
Code.
NOW, THER~ORE, BE ZT 13.ESOLVEn by the Board of Supervisors
of the County pf Butte, State of California, as follows:
1, I'hat said Board hereby finds and determines that
proceedings herein were condu.cted pu~su.ant to §25210,1 et seq, of the
Government Code, and that publica~tion and notices were given pursuant
thereto, and that said Board finds and determines that the ex~tent to
which the services described in the Resolution of Tntentian are
extended county services;
2a That said Boa rd hereby determi.nes:~o establish said
county service. area.
RESOLUTION ESTABZZSHING COUNTY SERVICE AREA TO BE
ENTITLED °RCOUNTY SERVICE ,A~2FA N0. 4~9" (Government

3. Tkiat the boundaries of sazd serviee area are hereby
~~~ii~ determined and established as the same as are shown on
~hibit "A", attached hereto, and incorporated herein by re£erence
and made a part of this resolution.
4, That the name o~ said service area so established is
'~COUN~Y SERVICE AREA N0. 49".
5. That the type of extended county services to be pravided
within said area is the i.nstallation of street lighting loca~ed within
the boundaries of the area described herein pursuant to Gavernment
Code §25210.4a.
6, That a tax suff~.cient to pay for all. such services
which are farnished on an extended basis sha~1 be annual~y levied
upon aZl taxable praper~y within said a~ea.
7o That said county service area is established £or a11
purposes subject only to compliance with the requirements of
Chapter S, Division 2, Title 5 af the Government Code and subjec~t
to the provisions of Article 205~ Chapter 2.2, Part 2~ Division 2,'
Title 3 of tlze Government Code of the State of Calzfornia.
