Cpunty of Butte hereby approves the atiached contract on egg
standards and hereby authorizes ~he chairman of this Soard to
execute same on behalf of the Coun~y of Butte.

• called the County, and the Directdr``bf"2~griculrure, hereinafter referred to
as the Director, pursuant to Secrion G0531 & 2 of the Agri.cultural Code. This
contract sha~l be effective between July 1, 197~, and June 30, 197~.
1. Services to be performed by the County, together with payments for and
condiCions of service, are J.isted on attachment "A" to this contract,
which docLUnent is made a part of this contract. Compensation to the
County for ~.ts seivices is provided in attacfiment "A", Part TII(a).
2. Tt-e CounCy shall maintain time sl.ips for each inspector on a daily basis
showing the number of hours spent by eaeh man performing services under
this conCracC together wfth copies of offieial cextificates as specified
' by the Director and a~iy other records as required giving a su~nary of work
performed. '
3. The CounEy, on a qvarterly basis, shall submit to the Director an invoice
for the wark performed showing the amount of salaries based upon'the number
of hours worked as agreed npon and a separate amount for expenses to be
allowed such as mileage and other necessities required in the inspeetiion
work. _
4. Na aJ.teratioxt or modification of this agraement i.s valid unless made in
.. wxiting artd assented to in the sama manner as this agreement.
5. This agreemenC may be canceled by either party upon thirty (30) days
written notice or upon Cermination of funding by the United States Department
of Agriculture. Shou3.d the contract be terminated prior to , ,
payment shall be made for work performed up to the effective da~'e~o termination.
Notice to the ~or,missioner of said County shall be deemed notice'to the
County. Notice to the Administrator, Egg and Poultry Standards in Sacraniento
shaJ.l be deemed notice to the Director of Agriculture,
6. In the performance of this contract, the State sha11 be responsible for
any liability resulting from the negligent or wrongful actis or omissions. •

7. The attached Fair Employment Practices A,ddenduirt {Std. Foxtn 3) is incorporated

as the Director, pursuant to Section 4053i & 2 of the Agricultural Code. This
contract shall be e£fective between July 1, 7.97~, and June 30, ~.97~.
1. Services tio be pexformed by the County, together with payments for and
eonditions of service, are 3.isted on attachment "A" to this eontract,
which document is made a part of this contract. Compensation to the
County for its services is provided in attachment "A'~, Part III(a),

of Agriculture. Should the contract be te rniinated prior to _y~, ,
payment shall be made fox work performed up to the effective date o termination.
