(2~ Director hereby agrees to p0.y to said County during the z973-7~ fiscal year a roaximwn stuq. of three thousand tht~ee~hundred ~nd nq/].a0 dollaz~s (~3,300) calculatet3 as follows: Payment will be at the rate of $275 per m.onth for each month the Agxicul,tural Co~nissioner`s posi~ion i.s fi.lled by a qualified person. Tf the position is vacant 30 consecutive days or less, the annusl payment will not be reduced. A vacancy of more than 30 consecutive davs will reduce the annual payment. Parti.al m.onths aftex the first 30 days of vacancy will be trea~ed as whole months in compu~ing the reduction. Appointment of a qualifisd person to fill a vacancy shaZ~ not be at a lower monthly rate or range thsn the xate or range establ.ished for the Co~issioner's gosition. Appointment to fill a vacsncy may be for an interim or fixed period, but ahall be of a gualified person. {3) County agrees that during the term of ~his agreement, the Agricultural Coaeaisaioner's base salary wi~l not be reduced below the base salary established for that position for the month of January, 1959• (4) County agrees that during the term of this agreement, the Agricultural Commissioner's salary wilZ not be reduced to an amount so as to a11ow the $3,300 payment to exceed two- thirds of the salary. (5~ Payment wiZ1. be made at the end of said fiscal year upora submission of invoice indicating periods that the position of Agricultural Cozmnissioner was actue,lly filled by a qualified person. (6) The term of this agreement shall be from Ju7.y ]., 1973 through June 30, 1974, sub~ect to termination by either party at ar~y time c~uring tkae said term upon giving not lesa than 30 days written notice to the other party. (2) Director hereby agrees to pay ~o said County during the 1973-74 fiecal year a maximwn sum of three thousand three-hundred and no~100 dollars ($3,300) calculated as follows: Payment wi11 be at the rste of $275 per month for each month the Agricultural Commissionex's position is filled by a quelified peraon. If the position is vscant 30 consecut9.ve days nr less, the annusl payment will not be raduced. A vacancy of more than 30 consecutive days will reduce the annual payment. Partial months af~er ~he firat 30 days of vacancy will be treated as whole months in computing the reduction. Appointment of a qualified person to fill a vacancy sha11 not be at a lower monthly rate or range than the rate or range established for the Co~mnissioner's poaition. Appointment to fill a vacancy may be for an interim or fixed period, but sha1.1 be of a qua~ified person.
