WHEREAS, this Board has been made aware of the provisions
of AB 1..404,
WHEREAS i;t is the opinion of this Board that the provisions
of AB 1404 would not in any way improve tYie administration of
justice but would rather only lead to a significant increase in
costs which must be borne by the 1oca1 property taxpayers,
NOW, THEREFO1tE, BE IT RESOLVED by tha.s Board as £ollow's:
1. That this Board strongly opposes AB 1404 and respectfully
request that AB 7.404 be defeated.
2. That copies of this resolution be sent to the Honorable
Fred Marler, State Senator and the Honorable Ray Johnson, Assemblyman
and to such other individuals as the Board may directo
