Resolution No. 73-140
WHEREAS, a portion of Palermo-Honcut Highway is no longer necessary or
required for road purposes; and
WHERFAS, pursuant Co the Streets and Highways Code, Section 960.I titie
Board finds that a porCion of Palermo-Honcut Highway shou].d be summarily
vacated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT TiESOLVED by the Board of Supervi.sors of the County
of Butte, State of California, as ~ollows:
The portion of Palermo-Honcut Highway, as descxibed in the attached
Exhibit "A", is hereby suunnaril.y vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets
and Highways Code Section 960.7..
PASSED AND ADOPT~D bq the Board of Supervisors of Che County of Butte,

Butte County Official Records, boun.ded on the west by the east line of the Southexn
Pacific Railroad ~ight of way (100) ~'eet wide bounded on the north by a 7.ine running
paxal].el wi~h and distant 40 €eet south of the nortih line nf said Section 5, bounded on
the south and east by the following-described Iine:
Commencing at the northeast corner of said Sectzon 5; thence a].ong the north 7.i.ne of said
Sect~.on 5 S88°25'08"Ws 14.3/~ feet; thence leaving said north I.ine southwester7.y al.ong
the arc of a non~tiangent 1470 foot radius curve, concave to Che northwest (xadial line
to said curve at this point bears S82°45'24"E)~ through a central angle of 1°34`53"~ a
