District, the North Burbank Public Utility District, the E1 Medio
Fixe District, I7xainage District No, 100, the l7urham Irrigation
District, the Oroville-Wyandotte Trrigation ]7a.strict, the Paxadise
Irrigatio.n District, the Richvale Irrigation District, the Therma].~.to
Irrigation District and the Paradise Fire Pro~ection D~.stric~, ha^ve
passed reso7.utions calling elections for purposes of elactin.g members
to their respective governing boards, said elecfiions ~o be on
November 6, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the governing board of the Oroville Union High
School District has passed a resolution calling an election to in-
erease said district's revenue J.ima.~, said election to be held on
November b, 1973; and
WIiEREAS, each of the aforesaid governing boards has
requested the Board of Supervisors of the Connty af Butte to order
~he consolida~a.on of each of the aforesa3d elections with the special
state election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 1973;
NOW, TTiEREFORE, BE TT 012BERED AND RESOLVEII by the Board of
Supervisors of th.e County of Butte, State of California, as fol,lows:
1, That the aforesaid elections called by the afaxesaid
governing boards for November 6, 1973 shall be axid the same are
hereby consolidated with the special state elec~ion. to be held
November 6, 1973,
2a That in the areas affected by this consolidation order
the election shall be held in all respecf~ as though there were
anly one election and the County Cle~rk of Butte County is hereby
ordered and directed to provide according].y, wi~.hin the territory

WITH TH~ SPECIAL STATE ELECTION TO BE HELD NOVEMBER 6. I973
affected by said consolidation, the election precincts, po~ling
places and voting booths for each of said elections hereby consolidated
and tv provide for only one set of election a~ficers in each of the
precinc~s affected by this consolidation order.
3o That the County Clerk is further ordered and directed
to set forth in each form of ba~lot and sample ballot9 to be used
in said consolidated elections, insofar as applicable, the ballot
measure for said governing baard member elections and revenue limit
electian, to mail to the qualified electors of the respective districts
appropriate sample ballots a.nd polling place cards signed by said
County Clerk relating ~o said elections and to provide absent voter
ballo~s fo~ said elections and said special state election consolidated
therewith for use by qualif ied electors of the respective districts
who may be entitied thereto as provided by law,
4, That the County Clerk shall canvass or cause to be
canvassed the returns of said district ele~~ions and sha~~ certify
such canvass of the votes cast to the respective governing boards,
5, That the County C1erk is further authorized to charge
to the respective districts the ea~penses ot the election ar elections
attributable to said districtso
