HomeMy WebLinkAbout73-147, LJ ~ WfiEREAS the Public Administrator of Bu~~te Cour~ty has requested the County of Butte to execute the attached "PARTIAL RELEASE OE' MORTGAGE" relating ~o that mortgage executed Ju1y 11, 1961, by Henry Jackson, recorded 3uly 17, 19'61, Book 1127, Page 29; WHEREAS this request is being made toward ~he end that the Public Administrator in administering the estate of Selena Jackson will be able to sell that real property specifically described in the aforesaid "PARTIAL RETIEASE OF MORTGAGE"; Tr7HEREAS the Publi~ Administrator is making this request so that a cloud on the title of the said property wiil be cleared; WHE].tEAS ~he execution of the "'PARTIAL RELE[~SE OF MORI~GAGE" would no~ release any valid or enforceable security interest in said property; and WHEREAS the txz~.derlying debt of $2fl734,89 would not be released by the execution of the attached "PARTIAL REL~ASE OF MORTGAGE"; NOW, THEREFOi~, BE I~ RESOLVED that the Chairman of this Board is au~horized to execute tihe attached "PARTIAL RELEASE OF MORTGAGE".
