RESOLUTION TO AI~IEND RESOLUTION N0. 73-150
FIXING TAX RATES 2N THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
WHEREAS, 7HE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, did, at a regular meeting of said Bo'ard on August 28, J.973,
adopt Resolution IQo. 73-Z50 fixing the tax ra~es in the County o£ Butte
for the 1973-74 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the tax ra~e established therein for the Thermalito Union
School District was computed on the basis of a maximum tax rate limitation
calculated by utilizing inaccurate attendance projections £urnished to the
Butte County Superintendent of Schools; and
WI-IEREAS, imposition of this incorrect tax xate limita~ion would
create an undue financial burden on the Thermalito Unzon School Dist; and
WEiEREAS, the Butte County Superintendent of Schools has xecalculated
the maximum tax rate limitation utilizing corrected attendance pxojections;
NOW, THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED, tha~ the Baard of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California does hereby amend Resolu-~ion No. 73-150
to change the tax rate fixed for the Fhermalito Union School District from
$1.606 per $100 of assessed valuation to $1.96T per $100 of assessed valu-
ation for the 1973-74 fiscal year.
The foregoing resolution was introduced by Supe~visor Madi~an _,
who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor C am erort , and said
resolu~ion was passed this 18th day of SentembPr , 1973, on roll
call by the following votes:
AYES: Supervisors Cameron, Gilman, Ladd, Madigan and Chairman
