W[-3ER~AS, the Board.of Supervisors of the County of Butte has determined
that for efficient operation of the Chico Municipal Court of ~he County o~
Butte the necessity has arisen for the establishment of a cash difference
fund and a cash overage fund; and
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the Stste of California, Sections 29370
et seq provide for the establishment of such funds.
~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEB BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTFE, STATE OF CALTFQI3NIA~ as follows:
1. There is hereby established a cash difference fund for the use of
the Chico Municipal Court of •the County of Butte.
2. There is hexeby established a cash overage fund for the use of the
Chico Municipal Court of the County of Butte.
3. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby authorized and directed
to drativ a warrant for the sum of $25.00 in favor of the Chico Municipal Court
of the Coun~y of ~utte. '
4. Any officex or employee of the Chico Municipal Court of -~he Covnty
of Butte who receives or disburses money placed in his custody by the Chico
Muni.cipal Court of the County of Butte shail render a written report at the
close o~ each business day, setting forth the exact sum of any cash deficit
or ovexage in his account for that day. The Judge of the Chico Municipal
Couxt of Chico, County oP Butte shall immedi.ately reimburse a cash deficit
reported to him provided, however, the reimbursement shall not exceed the
amount of cash difference fund.
5. The Judge of the Chico Municipal Court of the Coun~y o~ Butte
immeda.ately upon report to him of a cash overage shall deposit said ovzrage
in cash overage fund.
6. At the end of each fiscal year the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte shall transfer any money in the cash overage fund to the
County General Fund.
The foregoing reso~ution was intxoduced by Supervisor Ladd
who moved its adoption~ seconded by 5upervisor Gilman , and said
Resolution was passed this 2na day of October , 1973, on roll
call by the following vote:
