HomeMy WebLinkAbout73-170~REAS, the Board ot Supervisors of the County of Butte has here- tofore established County Service Area Noo 47, which serviee area is autharized to provide storm drain maintenance, and WHEREAS, on J~ne 19, 1973 the Board of Supervisors passed and adopted Resalution 73-98 expressing its intention to consider extending the authorized services of said service area to include provision of street lighting and making application ta ~he Loca~ Agency Formation Commission for its review and approval or disapproval ~~he proposal, and WHEREAS, the Loca1 Agency Formation has approved said proposal by Resolution No. 73-17 on Septelnber 6, 1973, and WHEREAS, pursuant to a request of 2 members of the Baard of Supervisors it has been pxoposed that said extended services be pro- vided. N~W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and ordered by the Butte County Board of Supervisors as follows: 1, It is proposed that the authorized services of County Se~vice Area Noa 47 be ex~ended to ~nclude provision o~ street lighting pursuan~ to Article 3 of Chapter 2e2 af Part 2, Division Z, Title 3 of the Government Cade (commencing with §25210.30)0 2. The exteriar boundaries of the territoxy to be affected by this proposa~ are the same as those o~ Coun~y Servzce Area No, 47, which bouridaries are described in Exhibit ~pA" attached hereto and made a par~ hereof by this reference. 30 ~cept where funds are otherwise avai7.able from service charges coliected pursuant to Government Code §25210.77a, a tax sufficient to pay for all such services which are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied on all taxable property within such area.
