tofore established County Service Area Noo 47, which serviee area is
autharized to provide storm drain maintenance, and
WHEREAS, on J~ne 19, 1973 the Board of Supervisors passed and
adopted Resalution 73-98 expressing its intention to consider extending
the authorized services of said service area to include provision of
street lighting and making application ta ~he Loca~ Agency Formation
Commission for its review and approval or disapproval ~~he proposal, and
WHEREAS, the Loca1 Agency Formation has approved said proposal
by Resolution No. 73-17 on Septelnber 6, 1973, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to a request of 2 members of the Baard of
Supervisors it has been pxoposed that said extended services be pro-
vided.
N~W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and ordered by the Butte County
Board of Supervisors as follows:
1, It is proposed that the authorized services of County Se~vice
Area Noa 47 be ex~ended to ~nclude provision o~ street lighting pursuan~
to Article 3 of Chapter 2e2 af Part 2, Division Z, Title 3 of the
Government Cade (commencing with §25210.30)0
2. The exteriar boundaries of the territoxy to be affected by
this proposa~ are the same as those o~ Coun~y Servzce Area No, 47,
which bouridaries are described in Exhibit ~pA" attached hereto and
made a par~ hereof by this reference.
30 ~cept where funds are otherwise avai7.able from service
charges coliected pursuant to Government Code §25210.77a, a tax
sufficient to pay for all such services which are furnished on an
extended basis will be annually levied on all taxable property within
such area.

the time fixed for the hearing, pursuant to Government Code §25210,34,

of the hearing pursuant to Government Code §6061 in the Chico Enterprise
Record, a newspaper of general circula~tion within County Service
