of the County of Butte hereby amends Section 8.10 of the rersonnel
Ru1es of the County ot Butte by adding thereto the following:
"Commencing Ju1y 1, 1973, p~rmanent employe~s laid
off as a result of administrative reorganization or
lack of appropriations who are reinstated to a
regular county posifiion within twe~.ve (12) months
from the effective clate of his Zay off, shall be
xeinstatecl with seniorifiy ri~hts.
"Such amployess sha11 b~ credited with his unused
sick leave on accrual at th.e time of lay off ~p to
a maximum of 30 days and sha~.1 accrue vacation
benefits at the rate established by his prior
seniority. An employee reinstated to the same
classification in which permanent status was held at
the time of lay off shall not be required to serve
a new probationary period."
