from the Thermalito Irrigation District, which Resolution
of the Thermalito Zrrigation District requests that the County
advise said irrigation districfi of the cost involved in the
County's assumption of the assessmen~ and collection duties of
the district, a11 pu.rsuant to the provisions of Chapter 8, Part
10, Division 11 of the Water Code of the State of California.
WHEREAS, this Board has requested and received from the
Coun.ty Auditor, the County Treasurer and Cou.nty Assessor recom-
mendations as to the char~es that would be applicable hereto.
NOW, TI-IEREFORE, BE IT R~SOLV~D that this Board finds as
follows:
1. That the applicable ck~arges as pursuant to Water Code
Sec~ion 26603 are as follows:
a. 'Tk~e fee charged by the State Board of Equalization to
prepare the necessary tax code area maps sha11 be paid
by the Thermalito Irrigation Dis~rict da.~ectly to the
State Board of Equalization, and the Thermalito Irrigation
District shall be responsible for making all. necessary
fi7.ings with the State Board of Equalizatinn.
b. A fee of $2.50 for each assessor parcel that will recN.ire
remapping, i.e. wrhere the present assesso~ parcel would
not coincide with the boundaries of the Thermalito
Irri.ga~ion Distri~t.

c, A charge of $25 per parcel for each parcal that will
have to be reappraised by the Assessora
d. A one time cost of $200 as Auditor's cost for in-put
of the necessary coding into the tax roll procedures,
including d~ta processir~g cost.
~o Any additional actual expenses, including but not lfmited
to annual maintenance of parcel maps and appraisal
costs to the Assessor not adequately covered under
paragraphs a, b, c, above, caused to the Covnty by
virtue of the County asstuning tne aforementioned
responsibilities from fihe Thermalito Irrigation Distriet,
it bezng impossible for this Soard to advise Thermalito
Irrigation District of the actual cost afi this time be-
cause of the failure of Thermalito Irrigation District
to supply the information reques~ed by the Assessor's
Officea
2o That a copy of this Resolution be forthwith sent to
Thermalito Irrigation District, Butte County Assessor, Butte
County Treasurer, Butte Gounty Auditor and to the State Board
of Equ.alizationa
