o~ the State of California provides as follows:
LQAnd provided~ still further, that notwithstanding
t~e restrictions containe~in this Constitutian,
the treasurer of any city, county, or city and
county sha1Z have power and it shall be his dtity
to make such temporary transfers from the funds in
his custody as may be necessary to provide funds
for meeting the obligations incurred for maintenance
purposes by any city, county, city and county,
district, or other political subdivision whose tunds
are in his custody and are paid oat solely through
his ot~ice. Such temporary transfer of funds to
any political subdivision shall be made only upon
resolution adopted by the governing body of the city,
county, or city and county directing the treasurer
of such city, county, or city and coun.ty to make
such temporary transfer. Such temporary transfer of
funds to any palitical subdivisivn shall .not exceed
85 percent of the taxes accruing to such political
subdivision, shall not be made prior to the first
day of ~he fiscal year nor after the last Monday in
April of the current tiscal year, and shall be
replaced from the taxes accr~ing to such political
subdivision before any other obligation of such
political subdivision is met from such taxes."
WHEREAS, certain districts are in need of ~he transfers
referred ~to aboveo
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board as fo~.lows:
1o The auditor and treasurer are hereby direc~eed to
transfer such amounts as may be necessary to the special districts
and other public entities in which the Coun.tyserves as deposit for

provisions re~erred ~o above,
2, The audi~tar and treasurer are requested to report
to this Board after said transfers have been repaid to the County
General Fund, and advise the Board what, i£ any, effect these
transfers had on other financial positions of the County.
