Government Code sections 50~30 et s~, this Board z~Tishes to declare
its intention to a.bandon a publ.ic highway as d~scribed below.
NOW, T~iERE~'ORE, BE ZT RESOZVED b~ ~his Board:
1. ~'ha~ -~his Boa~d hereby gives notice that at its regu.lar
meeting on Januazy 2?, 1974, at 2;00 p.m., in the Board Chambers,
Courthouse, Oroville, a hearing shall be held on the aban.don.ment of the
follo~ring described public high~vay.
Mills Road east of Gage t~oad ~rom its intersection. with
Gage Raad to its end appro~imagely ;~4 mile east o~
Gage Road.
2. T~.at this Reso~.ution be posted and published pursuant ~o
the provisions of Goverr~men~ Code Sections 50~t-4-0 and 504~I-1.

Gentlemen :
The undersigned, being mm~e than ten freeholders, at least two of whom are residents of the Road
District in which some part of the highway affected is situated ; and who are taxable therein for high-
way purposes, do hereby petition your Honorable Board of Supervisors, zn writing, in accordance
with provisions of Section 957 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
to ABANDON the following described COUNTY I~IGAWAY of the COUNTY OF BUTTE:
Milla Road east of Gage Road from ita intersection with Gage Road to its
end approximately ~ mile eset of Gage Road. Further, since there are only
two praperty holders involved we would ask that the ahandonment fee be
waived.
