BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. T3G~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 102 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 467, COMMONLY .KNOWN AS THE "COUNTY CODE,"
WHICH SAID SECTION 102 IS ALSO KNOWN AS BUTTE
COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 431, COMMONLY REFERRED TO
AS THE "SUBDIVISION ACT."
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, do ordain as follows:
SECTION l: That Section 102 of Butte County Ordinance
No. 467 is entitled "Subdivision Act"; that paragraph numbered
6 is entitled "Subdivision Standards and Principles"; that ~~
Subsection e, of Subsection (10), of Subsection (b), under
said Paragraph 6, is entitled "e. Easements," which said
subsection is also Section 64 of Butte County Ordinance No.
431, and that said subsection and section is hereby amended to
read as follows:
EASEMENTS. Where alleys are not provided,
public utilities easements not less than six (6)
feet in width and direct and continuous from block
to block may be provided in each side of rear lot
lines, and of side lines where necessary. When an
easement on only one side of a lot is required, it
shall have a width of twelve (12) feet.
Easements of greater width will be required
along natural water courses, conforming substantially
to the lines of such channels.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty
(30) days after the date of its adoption, and before the
expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be
published with the names of the members voting for and against
the same, once, in a newspaper published in the County of Butte,
State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of
the. County of Butte, State of California, at the regular meeting
thereof on the 15th day of 3anuary, 1962, by the following vote;
