BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 735
AAT ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISTURBANCE
OF SURFACE OR SUB-SURFACE OF COUNTX
HIGHWAY WITHOUT A PERMIT.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, do ordain as follows:
1. No person, persons, partnership or corporation
shall operate, or cause to be operated, any plow, disc,
cultivator, harrow, scarifier, or in any manner disturb the
surface or sub-surface of any County highway, right of way,
easement or property without first obtaining a permit from the
Director of the Department of Public-Works of the County of
Butte.
2. Any person who individually, or as a partner of
a partnership or officer of a corporation, violates or permits
the violation of this ordinance, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor
3. This ordinance shall take effect thirty {30) days
after its adoption, and before the expiration of fifteen (15)
days'~after its passage and adoption, shall be published once
in a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of
California, together with the names of the members voting for
and against said Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, at the regular meeting
thereof on the _ ~i~th day of ~T~varv 1962, by the following
