scribed, and
WHEREAS, no proceeding for the estab~ishment of such a
service area sha11 be insti.tuted by this Board or requested by its
members until approval of the Loaal Agency Formation Commission is
first obtained.

County Board of Supsrvisors as ~ollows:
l. Application and a proposal is hereby made to i;he Bu~G~e
Coux~~Gy Local Agency ~'ormatioxl Commission in accordance with the Knox-
Nisbet Ac'~, beginning with Goverrunent Code Section 5~.773, for estabiish-
ment o~' County S~rvice Area 5~. The exterior boundaries of the proposed
service area are dQscribed in Exhibit "A" attachad hereto and made a
part hereo~ by this reference.
2. Establishment of saa.d service area is praposed under the
Cpunty Service Area T~aw ~Cha;~~er 2.2, Part 2, Bivision 2, Tit1e 3 0~'
the Government Code beginning with Sec~inn z5zso.1). The type of
extended sarvice proposed to be provided ~.s installation and operation
o~' sanitary sewer service facil.ities.
3. The Clerk of the Board is authorized and directed to
file a certified copp of this resalution wzth the Executive Of.~icer
of the Butte County I,ocal Agency Formation Commission.

as fzled in the Butte County Recorder's Office in Map Book 5 at Page 26, also a portion
of Block 58 Chico Vecino as filed in the Butte County Recorder's Office in Map Book 4
at Page I3, also all of B1ock 2 of the 14th Subdivision of the John Bidwell Rancho as
filed in the Butte County Recorder's Ofifice in Map Book 6 at Page 68, more particularly
