intends ta consider a proposal fo~ annexation of the territory
hereinafter described to County Service Area No, 47 and desires
to inititate a proceeding for said annexation pursu.ant to the
District Reorganiza~ion Act, beginning with §56000 of the Government
Code;
WHER~,P,S, prior to adoption of a resolutian by the Boaxd
of Supervisors ini~3.ating annexation proceedings it is necessary
to apply ta the Bu~~e Gounty Local Agency Formation Commission
fo r its review and approval or disapproval. o~ the proposed
annexation.
NOW, THEREFOR~, BE ~T RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the Butte
Coun~y Board of Supervisors as fo1,lo~rs:
lo Applicatio.n and a proposal is hereby made ~to the
But~te County Local Agency Formation Commi.ssion for the anne,xation
of certain uninhabited territory to Coun~y Service Area No. /~70
'Th.e exterior boundaries of such territory are described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and made a part hereaf by ~this referencea
2. The reason for this proposal is to provide storm
drainage main.tenaz~ce and st:reet l.ighting,
3, The Clerk of ~he Board is au.thorized and directed
to file a certified copy of this resolution with tlze Executive
Ot'ficer of the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission
