NOU1~ ~t F~FiEFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the But~e Caunty Boarcl of Supervisors as follows: 1. Appl.ica~ion and a proposal is hereby made to the Butte County Loca1 Agency Formation Commission in accordance wi~h the Knox- Nisbet Act~ beginning wi~h Government Code Secti.on 5~773~ for establishm.ent of County Serrice Area No. 51. The exterior boundaries of the proposed service area are descr~.bed in E~.ibi~ ".A." attached hereto ancl made a part hereof by this reference. 2. Estab~.ishmen.t of said service area 3s proposed under the County Service Area T,aw (Chapter 2.2~ Part 2~ Division 2, Title 3 of the Government Code beginning wzth Section 25210.1). The type of extended services would be £or the purposes of maintenance, for right-of way acquisition, and ~'ox~ i.mprovemen~ af Dry Creek and its tributaries within the dis~rict. ~. 3. The Clerk of the Board is au~horized az~d direeted to file a certified copy of this resolution with the Execu~ive Officer of ~he Butte County Local Agency Farmation Commission.
