Thi.s matter came on regularly fvr hearing before the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on
February 26 , 197~r, in the Supervisors' Room of the But~e County
Administra~ion Building fronting on Huntoon Street, in Oroville, Califbr-
nia, Butte County, and it appearing to said Board that a Notice of
Tntention and Reso?ution to Abandon a Publ~.c Highway and Notice of
Time and Place of Hearing of said Abandorix~ent was du~y and regular].y
given. as required by law, and testimony and evidence, both oral and
documentary, having been produced at said hearing, ~rom whicla said
Board now finds ~ha~ the hereina~ter described Public Highway (to wit,
an alley between Birch S~reet and Pearson Road, Parae~ise) is un.-
nec2ssary for present and prospec~ive use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT ZS HEREBY OFtDERED as ~oll,ows:
1. That the Publ.ic Highway s~tL~ate in the County of Butte~
State of Cal.iforni.a, as hereinafter more garticularly described, is
hereby abandoned.
2. That the descrip~ion o~' said Publac Highway so abandoned
is situate in the County o~' Butte, State of Ca~.ifornia, and more ~
particul.arly described as foll.ows:
A,1.I of t~at certain North South A1leyvaay in B1.ock
?~, as shown on that certair_ Map entitled, "~aradise,
Butte County, Cala.~orniap', whi.ch Nap was recorded
in the 0~'f~.ce pf the Recorder of the County of
Butte, State of California, on Apri.~ 4, ~904 in
Book ~. of Niaps at page 7. Saa.d Alleywap extends south
from the sou~h line of Birch Street to the north
line of' the Pearson Road.
Exeepting therefrom tha~ par~tion lping within the
lines of an east--west alleyway as shown on said
Niap in said Block t~.
