in.itiated preliminary proceedings for the annexation of certain
described territory ta Caunty Service Area 4 by passing, adopting
and ~iling with the Butte County Local Agency Forma~ion Comma.ssion
Resolution No. 73-184, and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Zoca1 Agency Formation Commissio~,
after appropriate proceedxngs, duly adopted a resolution approving
the proposed annexatio,napd assignzng to said proposa7. the following
distinctive short-forrci designation: LAFC Noo 73-55, Proposed
Annexation to Cou.nty Serv~ice Area No. 4, and
WI~REA3, upon receipt of the resolution af appraval from
~the Loca1 Agency Formation Commission, this Board on January 8,
1974 adopted Resolu~ion No, 74-3, a resolutian and notice af.
intentio.n ~o annex territory to Coun~ty Service Area No. 4 and
setting a public hearing on said proposed annexation to be held
February 26, 197~ at 2:00 pam,, and
WH~REAS, nntice of said puhlic hearing was duly and properly
given, the said hearing has been held and all person desi~ing to
i~e heard have been heard, t~o written protests ot the proposed
aruiexation were filed with ~his Board and the factors set forth
i.n Government Code §56314a1 have been conside~edo
NOW, THEREFQRE, BE IT RESOLV~D and ordered purs~.ant to
Governmen~e Code §§5631901, 56320, and 56323 that the terrztory
described in Exhibit `eA"~ a~ttached hereto and made a part hereof

without election, ~or the purpose of providing maintenance and
servicing of drainage faeilities and const~uction, operation~
