APPOINTIN'G ENGINEER OF WORK

DESIGNA.~ING HIS DUTIES

STATE .OF CALIFORNIA:
That EVERD McCAIN be, an.d he is he~reby, appoin~ed
Engineer of Work and that he shall do and perform the dutzes
of the County Surveyor or Buperintendent of Streets that are
hereafter specified in tke matter ot the improvement of certain
streets and easements within and adjacent to the area in this
County shown upon the'map of Skyway Assessment District No. 1
adopted and appxoved by this Board on Apri1 10, Z973.
That said Engineer of Work is hereby directed to
prepare for ~his Board, Maps, Diagrams, P1ans an,d Specifications
for doing said work together with careful esti~tates of the
costs and experises thereof.
That said work shall be done unde~ the direction
and to the satisfaction of Che said Exigineer of Work and that
he sha11 make and sign the assessment to be ledied for said
work to.gether with the warrant ~or the same.
That the comgensation fo~' Eve~d McCain £or the
performance ot the duties hereinab.ove set ~orth shall be
determiri.ed in accordance with that certain Standard Hourly
and letter dated March 12, 1474 and Exhibit B
Rate Schedule/attached hereto and marked Exh2bit A/and that
said svm be charged to and paid only from .the incidental
expenses for said Assessment District and from no other source
or £und.

Please be advised that the Resolution appoi.ntzng Everd
A. McCain as Engineer of Work £ar the Skyway Assessmezit
District No. 1 supercedes our previous Contract with
the Caunty of Butte fo~ the Skyway Improvements. In
other words, if the Contract for the drainage and sewer
faca.lities is awarded and the District formed, all work
wi.ll be done witt-in the Resolution Appointin.g Engineer
af Work.
As listed in the Engineer's Cost Estimate, we anticipate
our fee to be less than the foll.owi.ng amounts:
