RESOLUTTON OF INTENTION
RESOLVEI7 BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COU1~iTY O~ BUTTE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA:
That it is the opinion of this Board that.the p~.hlic
interest and convexiience require and that it is the intention
of this Board to order the fol.J.owa.ng described work to be
done and improveuients to be constructed in certain places,
rights of way and publ~.c roa~.s in the County of Butte, to
wit:

That Skyway from a poznt 850 feet Westerly fro~ its.
intersection with the ceriterline'of Neal ~oad to a
point 75 feet Northerly from its intersec~ion with
the centerline of Bi11e Road be improved by construct-
ing tkereon curbs, gutters, drainage fac~li~ies, and
a11 necessary appurteriances;
That Fir Street from its intersect~on wi~h Skyway to
a point 120 feet Easterly therefrom be improved by
constructing thereon drainage pipeline;
That Oakwood Street from its intexsec~ion with Skyway
to a point 4SO feet Easterly .therefzom be improved
by constxucting thereon drainage pipeTine;~
That Foster Road trom its intersection wi~h Birch Street
to a poin~ 320 feet Northerly therefrom be improved by
cons~ructing thereon drainage pipeline and appurtenances;
T~at Birch S~reet fxo~ its intersection with Foste~ Road
to a point 200 feet Westerly therefrom be improved by
constructing thereon drainage p~peline and apgurtenances;
That sanitary sewer laterals be constructed in Skyway
at the locations shown on plan sheets 3 through 24,.

the cost of acquiring each of them, and including the incidental
expense~s thereof, as a part of the cost of said work and
a.mprovemerits.
THat all of said work.shall.be done and said
impx'ovements shall be'constructed pursuant to Division 7 ot
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the
Tmprovemexit Act of 1911, as amended, and shal.l be of the sizes,
dimensions, materials, and in the position.s and locations and
to the grades as shown and described upon and a11 in accorda~ce
~with the plans and specifications for Skyway Assessment District
No. 1 approved by this Board Ori March 12 , 1974, and
now on. fi.le zn the office of the CZerk of this Board.
That i.n the opinion of this Board o~ 5upervisors
the publa.c interest wiZ1 not be served by allosaing th.e property
owriexs to take the contract to perfornt the work of improvement
herein described, and such p~ope~ty owners sha11 not be permitted
to enter in,to a written contract to do sa~.d work.
That it is the opinion of this Board that said worlc
and improvements ~are of more than local and ordinary public
benef~t and that this Board hereby orders that the costs and
e~pen.ses of said work.and imgrovemerits sha11 be charged upon
a District and that ~his Boarcl hereby declares that said Dist~ict
is the District to be bene~ited by said work and improvements
and that sa~d District shall be assessed to pay the costs
and expenses of said work and improvements.

the extent of the territory included therein are skown upon
the map of said Skyway Assessment District No. ~ adopted and

and acquisitions should not be carried out in accordance with
this Resolution of Intention, and THAT THIS BOARD HEREBY GZVES
NOTTCE that any ocaner of property liable to be assessed for
said work anc3 improvements ma.y, at any time not latex~ than
the hour set for hearing objections to said work and improve-
ments and acquisitions make and ~ile with the Clerk of this
Board a written protest against the proposed work and improvements,
or agai.ns~ ~he extent o£ the District to be assessed, or both.
That the Clerk o~ this Board shall cause this
Resolution vf Intention to be published twice~in the Paradise
Post, a newspaper published and circulated in said County of
Butte, which said newspaper is hereliy designated for that purpose
and whi~h is hereby designated as the newspaper in which a11
~urther notices required to be made herein shall be published.
THat the Clerk of t~is Board is hereby directed ~o
mail notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention to
all persons owning real property which is to be assessed to pay
any part of the cost of the work and improvements her~inabove
described.
That the Engineer of Work shall, ~n the time, £orm
and manner provided by law, cause nofiices of the passage of
this Resolution of Intentzan to be conspicuously posted along
the Iines o~ the work and improvemerits described herein and on
a11 the open stree~s within the Aistxict above described.
