WIiEREAS, the Gove~ning Board of Oroville 5chool Aistrict
{hereinafter calted the '~district£") has cal.led and ordered to be
held i.n the dis~rict on Tuesday, June 4, 197~-, a special school
district bond electiom, and has requested the Board of Supervisors
of Butte County to consent to and the County Superintendent of
Schools of Butte County to order a consolida~ion of said special
school district bond election with the Direct ~'~imary Election to
be held in Butte County and throughout the State of California,
on Tuesday, June 4, 1974, and has further autharized this Board
of 5upervisors to canvass or cause to be canvassed the returns
of said special school dis~rict bond election from ~the territory
affected by said consolidation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of Bu.tte Cou.nty as follows:

Cali~ornia~ on Tuesday~ Juzle 4~ 197~+~ and this Board hereby
consents to said consolidation.
2. The election precincts~ polling places and voting

be only one set of election o#'ficers in each. precinet for both of
said elec~ions~ The precinc-~s, polling p~.aces and election

certain notice to be given by the County C1erk of Bu~te Coun~y
of the election offzcers appo~n~ed and pollzng places designated
for each precinet for said direct primary election, which notice
zs to be published pursuan~ to E1.ections Code Section 1622~ to
which notice reference is hereby specifically made for a designa-
tion of precincts~ polling places and election o#'ficers for said
special district b:Qrid election. A11 proceedings had in the
premises shall be recorded in the election papers for said direct
primary election and~ except as here~nafter stated~ said e~.ections
shall be held in al1 respects as though there were on~y ane

booths for each of said elections hereby consolidated~ whieh in

election officers in each of said precincts. Said County C1.erk
if further ordered and directed to p~int upon each of the baZlo~s
to be used at said Direc~ Primary E1ec~ion within said territory
a~'fected by said cons~lidation said dis~rict bond measure set
for~h in Section 1 of this resolution. Said.County C1e~k is

relating to said Direct 1'rimary Elect~on and to be mailed to the
qualified electors of the district within said territory affected
by said consolidation said district bond measure~ and to mai1. to

IT IS HEREBY FOUND AND DETERMINED that the boundaries
of the district are coterminous with the botandaries o~ the Butte
County ~lection Precincts to be used at saici Direet Pximary
Elec~ion.

forwarded by the County Clerk~to ~he Governing Board of the
dist~ict and to the County Superintendent of School.s.
