initiated preliminary proceedings for the annexation o~ certain
described territory to County Service Axea 4 by pas.sing, adopting
and filing with the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commi.ssion
Resolution No. 74-4, and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Loca1 Agency Formation Commission,
after appropri.a~e proceedings, duly adopted a resolution approving
the proposed annexation and assigning to said proposal the following
distin.ctive short-form designation: LAFC No. 74-7, Proposed
Annexa~ion to County Service Axea No. 4, and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of ttce resolution of approval from
the Loca1 Agency ~oxmation Commission, this Hoard on. March 12, 1.974
adopted Resolution No. 74-41, a resolutio,t~ and natice of intet~tion
to annex territory to County Service Area No. 4 and setting a public
heaxing on said proposed annexation to be held Apri1 16, 1974 at
2:00 p.m., and
WHEREAS, notice of said public hearin~g was duly and properly
given, the said hearing has been held and a~l pexsans desiring to
be heard hava been hesrd, no written protes~s of the proposed
annexation were filed with this Board and the factors set forth
in Governmen~ Code Section 56314.1 have been consxdered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT i~ SOLVED and ordered pursc~ant to
Government Code Sections 56319.1, 56320, and 56323 that the territory
described in Exhibit "A" aCtached hereto an.d made a part hereof
by this reference is ordered annexed to County Service Area No. 4,

TO COUNT'Y SERVICE AREA N0. 4
without election, for the purpnse of providing maintenance and
servicing of d~ainage fac~lities and construction, operation,
xeplacement, maintenance and repair of sewage collection, trans-
portation and disposal systems for the deseribed territory.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Super-
visors this 16th day of April, 1974, by the fallowing vote:
