This matter came on regularly for hearing before the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on
r7ay 14 ~ , 1974, in the Supervisors' Room of the Butte
County Administration Building fronting on Hvntoon Street, in Oroville,
California, Butte County, and it appearing to said Board that a Notice
of Intention and ReSOlution to Abandon a Public Higl~way and Notice of
Time and Place of Hearing of said Abandonment was duly and regu~arly
given as required by law, and testimony and evid.ence, both oral and
documentary, having been produced at said hearin.g, from which said
Board now finds that the hereinafter described Publzc Highway (to wit,
an alley between Guill and Bruce Streets, north o£ Virginia Street
and south o£ Colorado Street, Chico) is unnecessary for present and
prospective use;
NOW, THEI2EFORE, IT I5 HEREBY ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Public Highway situate in the County of Butte,
State of California, as hereinafter more particu]a rly described,is
hereby abandoned.
2. 'i'tiat the description of said pttbl.iC highway so abandoned
is situate in the Cour~ty of Butte, State of Cali~ornia, and more
particu~.arly described as tfliioWS:
Certain alley as shown on map Sun.set Addition block ~k1
as recorded in book 6 at page 34 of maps of record in
office ot Butte County Recorder.
3. That the Clerk of this Board shall cause a cextified
copy of this Resolution, wi~h the seaJ. of the Board of Supervisas
of the County ot Butte, S~a~e of California, to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of the Coun.ty of ~utte, Stat~ of California.
