HomeMy WebLinkAbout74-075Resolufion No. 74- ~5 ItESOi,UTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AR~.9 LdHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3 of the Government Code of the State of California, the Boaxd of Supervzsors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the establishment of a covnty service area within the ~ounty of Butte; and WHEREAS, the IACAL AGENCY FORMATfON COMM3S5ION of the ~County of Butte has approved the establishment of said Service Area No. 51. ~1'OW, TT~EREF'O~tE, BE IT RE~OLVEp by the Board of 54iper~sars of the ~ounty of Butte, ~tate of California, as follows: lo That a county service area is proposed to be established vnder the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte county; the boundary lines of the territories proposed for inclusio n in the area are more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as ti~ough fully set for~kh verbatim and at length. 2. That the proposed name for said county service area is County Serv~ice Area Noo 51. 3. That there are no extended eounty services provided in this area. 4, 'That the types of extended county services proposed to be provided in this area are for the maintenance, far right~of-t,ray acquzsition, and for improvement of Dry Creek and its tributaries withi.n the district puxsuant to Covernment Code Sec~ion 25210.4(a), located within ~he boundaries of the area so described hereino 5.
