initiated prelim.inary proceedings for the annexation of certain
described territory to County Service Area 47 by passing, adopting
and filing with the Butte County Local Agency ~'ormation Commission
Resolution No. 74-27, and
WHEREAS, the Butte Covnty Local Agency Farmation, Commission,
after appropriate proceadin,gs, duly adopted a reso}.ution approviz~g
the proposed ann,exation,and assigning tio saa.d proposal the fol~owing
distinctive short-form designation: ~AFC No. 74-9, Proposed
Annexation to Cocuxty ~ex~v'ice .P,rea No. 47, and
i~REAS, upon. receipt o~ th.e resol.ution of appxova~. from
the Local Agency Formatiot~ Commission, this Board on Apri.l 16,
1974 adopted Resolution No. 74-57, a~esolution and no~i.ce of
intention to annex territory to County Service Area No. 4 and settir~
a pvblic hearing on.said prnposed az~.nexa~ion. to be held May'28, 1974
at 2:00 p.m., and
WI-IEREAS, notice of said public hearing was duly and properly
given, the said hearin~g has been held and all persons desiring to
be heard have been heard, no written protests of the proposed
annexation were filed with this Board arcd the factors set forth
in Government ~ode Section 56314.1 have been conside~ed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED and ordered pursuant to
Governm.ent Code Sections 56319.2, 56320, and 56323 that the territory
described in Exhibit "A" attached here~o and made a part hereof
by this reference is~ordered annexed to County Service Area No, 47,
