HomeMy WebLinkAbout74-079~ WH~RFAS, North Sta~e Cooperative Library System, formerly North Sacramento Valley Cooperative Library System, is composed of the following participants: Butte County Library, Chico Public Library, Colusa County Free Library, Eureka-Humboldt County Library, Modoc County Free Library, Orland Free Library, Plumas County Free Library, Shasta Caunty Library, Siskiyou Cocu~ty Free Library, Tehama County Library, Trinity County Free Library, an.d Willows Public Library, and WHEREA5, pursuant to Resolution No, 68~-73, adopted May 7, J.968 by th~.s Baard of Super~risors, ~he Ci~y of Chico was authorized to serve as fiscal agent for the S~tate of California in ~ehe disbursement of funds provided by the State ta implement the program of said libra~y system, and WHERF~,AS, the plan of service da~ed May 29, 1970, and hereto- fore approved by aIl par:~icipating agenci,es, provides in paragraph I4(d): F"The City of Chica shall act as fiscal age.nt on belzalf af the system, and shall contract with the State of California for the receipt, disbursement and accou.nting of a1.1 f unds allocated for system use." and WHEREAS, the City of Chico desires ta ~thdraw as such fiscal agent, and that the City of Willows be sc~bsti~uted as such fiscal. agent; RES4~,UTION APPR4VING THE WITHDRAWAL OF' T~TE CI'I'Y OF' CHICO AS FISC,AL AGENT FOR 5TA'~E OF C1aLY~`ORN~IA IN CONNECTION WITH DISBURSAL 0~' FUIVDS FOR THE NORTH STATE COOPERATIVE LIBRAR~.' SYSTEM, AND APPROVING SUBSTITUTION OF THE CITY OF WILLOWS AS SUC~I F`ISCAL AGENT NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BX xH~ B0.9RD OF SUBERVISORS OF Ti~E COUNTY OF BUTTE AS FOLLOWS~ TO WT~': 1, That the City o~ Chico withdraw as fiscal agent for the State of California in connection with the administration and disb~rsement of ~unds to, for and on behalf of ~the North 5tate Cooperative Library Systemo 2, That paragraph 14~(d) of the plan of service, bearing date of May 29, 1970, be amended by striking the words "City of Chico" therefram, and inserting in lieu thereof, the words "City of Willows." 3.
