Wi3EREAS, pursuant to the authority vested in this Board
under Government Code sections 50430 et seg, this Board wishes to
declare its intention to abandon a public highway as described below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE~OLVED by this Board:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on ~uy~ s;~. , 1974, at Z;pp ~.m., in the
Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, a
hearing sha1.1 be held on the abandonment of the following described
public highway.
A portion of Cherry Ave. beginning 1/2 mile East side
center of Larkin Road which is now a grave3. road and
not through, going over existing levee to its easterl.y
terminus.
Excepting, however, from said abandonment and reserving
to Paci.fa.c Gas and Electric Cou~pany the right from time
~o time ~o maintiairz, repair, operate, replace, remove,
and renew lines of poles, equipment and fixtures, for
the operation o~ said ~aci~xties ~.n ~he po~tion of
said roadway tiereby abandoned.
2. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Governmen.t Gode sections 50/+/~0 and 50441.
PA55ED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Boax.d of Super-
visors this 18eh day of June , 1974, by the following vote:
AYE S: Supervisors Cameron, Ladd, McKillop and Chairman Madigan
