4 WHEREA,S, Connty of Butte Midway grade separation project has been
6 nominaeed on P°aU,C. 1974-75 ~.Y. przority Iist of grade separation projects
6 mosC urgently in. need of separa~ion, and
'7 WHEREAS, Butte County Board o£ Supervisors find that workload of its
$ Puhlic Works Depar~ment precludes it £xom performing ~he engineering design
<J of the Midway grade separation structure.
i0 NOGI~ T1iEREFOREs BE IT RESOLVED ~hat:
Z1 1. ~he County of ButCe requests the State of California Department
12 of Tra~.sportation to conduct the foundation investigations; to
I3 psepare plans, specificaCions an,@ engineer's esCimate for said
~4 grade separation;
15 2. The County of Butte agrees ~o rei.mburse the State of Californ~a
1g for its costs in doing suc[~ work;
],7 3. The County of Sutte requesCs the Sta~e of Ca7.ifornia to advise
18 County Public TnTOrks Department as ~o the sum of mon.ey estima~ed
19 to be needed fox said work so that the same may be depos~ted
20 wiCh the State; and
21 4. The County o~ Bu~te reqv.ests the Sta~e to advise tE~e County
22 Public Warks Aepar~ment as to the probab7.e date that said plans,
23 specifications and engineer~s estitaate would be completed:.
