OF ACQ~FISITION OF PROPERTY BY ENiINE1VT _ DOMAZN
WHEREAS~ the Board of Directors of the Feather River
Recreation and Park l]~strict of Butte County, California, reques~s
the approval of the Board o~' Supervisors to exercise its right of
eminen~ domain pursuant ~o Sect~.on 5'782.5~(c) of the Public Resources
Code over the real pro~erty hereinafter described.
BE ~T RESOZVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, California, authorize the Board of Directors of tlze
~`eather River Recreation and Park District to exercise its power
of eminent clomain over the real property situated in the County of
Butte, State of California, an.d described as fo1].ows:
A.parcel of land described as beginning at the
Southeast corner of Section 17, Township 19 North,
Range 4 East~ M.D.B.&M., and runs~.ing thence North on
~he I.it~e between Sec~ions 16 and 17, a distazxce o~'
LI-46.85 feet to a stake on the north bank of a ditch
for point of Commencement; thence South 88° 38' West,
along ~h.e North side of said ditch a distan.ce of
281.2 feet~ to a stake on the east line of Bowers
Addition to 4roville, according to th~ Official Map
of said Addition, filed of record in the affice of
the County Recorder of the Coun~y of Butte, State o~'
California~ April 19 ~ 19:11 in Map Book 7, page 1~;
thence northexly along the east line of said Bovrers
Add.ition, a dis~a~ce of 8~-2 ~ee~ to t~e Northeast
corner of Block 31 of said Bowers Addition on the
sou~Gh line of the Oroville-Wyando~~e County F;.oad;
thence easterly along the said south line of the
Oroville-Wyandotte Coun.ty Road~ a dis'tance of 297.2
feet to the east line of saa.d Section 17; thence
south on the east line of' said Section 17 a distance
of 6~+0 feet, more or less, to the place of commence-
ment, and containing 5.58 acres, more or 1ess.
