RESOLUTION ABANDONING A PLTBLIC IiIGHWAY
This matter came on regularly for hearing hefore the Board of
Supervisaxs of the County of Butte, Sta~e of California, on
.7uly 23, , J.974, in the Supervisors' Room of the Butte
Cout~ty Admxnistration Buildir~g fronting on Huntoon Street, in
Oroville, Califo~nia, Butte Covnty, and it appearing to said Board
ti~at a Notice of Intention and Resolution to Abandon a Public
Highway and notice of time and place of hearing of said abandonment
was du~y and regularly given as required by law, and testimony and
evidence, both oral and documentary, having been produced at said
hearing, from which said Board now finds that the hereina~ter
described Public Highway is u.nnecessary for present and prospective
use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
1. Th.a~t the Public Highway situate in the County of Butte,
State of Ca1i£ornia,.as hereinafter more particular3.y described, is
hereby abandoned.
2. Tf~at the description of said Public Highway so aban.doned is
situate fn the County of Butte, State of CaI i~ornia, an.d more
particularl.y described as follows:
360 ft, of 0leander Ave. from the North Edge of lOth Ave.
to the South edge of llth Ave.
P~o~rided that:
l. Gates are constructed at each. end by the applicant
(construction to be apgroved by Public Works Department).
2. Public utility easements to be retaixzed pursuant to
Ca1i~'ornia Streets and Highways Code, Section 959.I.
3. 'Z'hat the Clerk of this Board shall cause a certified
eopy of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, to be recorded in the offxce of the Recorder
of the County of Butte, ~tate of California.
