Pursuant to proceedings .~or the proposed incorporation of
the City of Paradise conducted in accordance with the laws o,i the
State of California~ th~s Board did adopt t~esolution No. 7~-- 110 ~
finding a.nd aetermining that there was nat suf~'icient protes~ and
establishin~ and defining the boundaries o~' the proposed City of
Paradise;
NOW~ THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND~ DETERM~NED .~1PlIJ7 4RDER.ED as
follows:
'i. An election is called and ordered to be held on Tuesday~
November 5~ 19~4~ i.n the axea hereafter described~ for the pu.rpose of
determining whether zt shou~d become incorporated and for the purgose
of electing councalmeny
2. The a.rea within vrhich the election shall be hel.d is
descra.bed a.n Exhibit F1A" attached to this resolu~ion and incorpora~ed
in a.t by this reference;
3. Notice shall be giverz of the election to be held in ~he
proposed city. The notice shall accurately describe the bounda.ries of
the proposed city as fixed and established by the board, shall state the
name of the proposed city or the alte~nate proposals for a name zor the
proposed city, the number of its inhabitants and ~he date af the election.

The no~ice shal~ require the vo~ers to cas~ ballots containing the
~aords "for zncorporation" and "against incorpora~ion'° and the names
of the persons to be voted for to fill. the offices of city councilraen.
4. The no~ice shall be published pursuant to section 606,6
of the Government ~ode in i,he Paradise Post, a newspaper of general
circulation prin~ed and published within the proposed boundaries;
5. The elec~ion sha11 be conducted and officers nominate;d
pursuant to the provisions of ~he ~lections ~ode concerning municipal
elec~ions~ and in addition the preparation of an impartial. analysis of
~he prnpased incorporation~ the filing of written arguments for ox
aga~.nst the proposed incorporation, and the preparation and mazl~.ng of
a ballot pamphlet shall confbrm with Government Code sections 3~+323•~-
34323.~-.
6e Within 5 days after this resolution is adopted '~he
coun.ty clerk sha11 transmi~ a certified copy of it by registered ~azl
to the executive of#'icer of the 1oca1 agency formation commission..
