WHEREAS, the Governing Boards of tn.e Paradise Recreation
and Park District, the Chico Area Recreation and Park Distric~~ the
~ia.chvale Recreation and. Park District, the Durham Recrea~ion and Park
Dzs~ri.et~ and the Feather Fiiver Recrea~i.on and Park Dis~rict~ have
passed resol.utions calling elections ~or purposes of electing memb2rs
to the respective govern.ing boards~ sa.id elections ta be on November
5> ~974; and
WHEREAS~ t~e Governing Board of the ~utte County Board o~'
Education has passed a resolution calling an election to abolish
trustee areas~ sa~.d election ~o be heZd on Novembe-r 5~ ~974g and
W€3~REAS~ ~he Governing Board of the Pioneer Union School
District has passed a resolu~ion calling a bond e~ection~ said
election to be held on November 5~ 197~+; and
WHEREA~, the Governing Board of the Durham Unified School
District has pa.ssed a resolution cal.ling an electa.on to increase
said district's revenu~ limit, said election. ~o be held on N'ovember
5, 197~+; and
i~dTiEREAS~ the Governing Board of the Chico Uni#'ied School
District has passed a resol.ution calling an election to increase th.e
dis~rict' revenue l.im~.t, said election to be held on November 5~ ~97~+;
and

WHER~,AS~ the Governing Board of the Paradise Unified
School District has passed a resolution calling a maximum tax rate
elect~on~ said elec~ion ~a be held on November 5, 197~; arid
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Bu~te Coun~y has
passed a resolution cal~ing an incorporation elec~ion~ said elec~ion
to be held on November 5~ 1974; and
VIHEREAS, each of the aforesaid Governing Boards has requested
the Board of Supervisors of the Coun~y of Bu~t~ ~o order ~he consolida-
tion of each of the aforesaid elections titTith the State General Election
to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 197~;
NOW, TH~R~~'flR.E, BE IT ORDEr'~ED AND RE,SOLTT~D by the Board of
Superv~.sars of the County of Butte, State of California, as followsa
1. That the aforesaid el.ections called by the afioresaid
Governzn; Boards for November 5, 1974, and by the Board of Supervisors,
shall be and the same are hereby consol.idated with the State Genera.l
Election ~o be held November 5, 197~•
2. That in the areas aiiect~d by this conso~idation order
the election should be helc~ in all respects as though there ti~ra.s only
one electian and the County Clerk of' Bu.tte County is hereby ordered
and directed to provide according~y vaithin the territory a~'fected by
said consolidation, the election precincts, pol.ling places and voting
booths for each of said eleetions hereby consolidated.and to provide
for only one set of election o~'ficers in each of the precincts affect~d
by ~.hzs consolidatioxi order.
3. ~ha~ the County Clerk is further ordered and directed
to se~ forth in each foxm of bal.lot and sample ballot, to be used in
said consolidated elec~ionsy insofar as applicable, the ballot measure
for said governa.ng boai~d meznbex election.s~ revenue limit increase
electzons~ bond election~ maximum tax rate election, election to
abolish trusi~ee areas9 and election to incorporate, to mai~ ta the
qualizied electors of the respective district the approprxa~te sample
balJ.ots a.nd polling place cards signed by said County C1e~•k reJ.ating

to said election and to provide absent voter ballo~s for said eZections
and said State General ELection consal~dated therewith for use by
quali~ied electors of the respective dist~~cts ~rho may be entitled
~hereto as provided by law.
~. That the Coun~y Cle-rk shall canvass or cause to be can-
vassed the returns of said district elec~ions and shall certify said
canvass of the votes cast to the respective governing boards.
5. That the County Clerk is further authorized to charge
to the respective districts ~he expense of the election or elections
attributable to said d~stricts.
