California, did~ at a regular meeting of said board on August 27~ 1974~ adopt
Resolution No. 74-12~ fixing the tax xates in the Coun~y of Butte for the 1974-75
fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the tax rate established therein for the Oroville Elementary
School District as $1.621 pex $100 of assessed valuation was computed on the
basis of a budget containing a clerical error; and
WHEREAS, imposition of this incorrect tax rate would cxeate an undue
financial burden on the Oroville Elementary School District; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Auditor-Controller has recalculated the
correcttax ra~e on the basis of a correc~ed budget compilation;
NOW THEREF~RE BE TT RESOLVED~ that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, 5tate of California does hereby amend Resolution No. 7~-12~
to change ~he tax rate fixed for the Oroville Elementary School District from
$1.621 per $100 of assessed valuation to $1.717 per $100 of assessed valuation
for the 1974-75 fiscal year.
The foregoing resolution was moved for adoption by Supervisor
McKil2op , seconded by Supervisor ~a~d and was passed
on this lOth day of September , 1974 by the £ollowing votes:
