CABL~, A CORPORATION, PURSUANT TO THE BOARD OF
SUPERVTSORS FRAI~CHISE AGREIIKENT ~
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte is
authorized by the provisions of the Board of Supervisors ~'ranchise
Agreement ta suspend or waive any rate or charge required to be
made by the franchise gran~.ee un.der the Franchise Agreement, for
the purpose of permitting such grantee to use such suspension or
waiver as a part of a promot3onal program fo~ limited periods of
tzme, and £rom time to time; and
WHEREAS, the grantee now requests autharzty to offer over
a period cammencing as of the date of adoptian of th~.s xesolution
and endirtg December 31, 1974, the following promotional sales
programs:
a. Resume disconnected service - residential (normaJ.
overhead a.nd existing wired underground) - normally
$7.50 to be recotzrzected o,n a no-eharge basiso
b, Residen~~.al. subscriber (normal overhead - where wiring
is x~equired) .normally $15.00 - to be installed at
$7.50.
WHEREAS, this Board finds that said request is reasonable,
and sliould be granted;
NOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY TEiE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
as fol~.ows:
l, That during the period from ~the date of the adoption of
this resol.u~tion, to and incluciing i]~cember 31, 1974, the grantee •
may off er the following promotional sales programs:
a, Resume disconnected service - residential {normal
overhead and existing wired undergratuid) - normally
$7,~50 to be reconneeted on a no-charge basis,
b, Residential subscriUer (normal. overhead - where
wa.~zng is required) normally '$,15000"- to ba installed
at $7,50.
