74-125 giving the S~`tate Board of Reclamation and the Corp of Engineers
the assurances as required by 1aw in order for improvemen.ts to be
made alor~g the Sacramento River at the approximate location of
Murphy 5lough, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Water Code Section I2878.1 this Board.
does not wish. to maintain said improvements at Murphy Slough.
NOW, THEi2EFORE, be it resolved:
1. That pursuant to the authority of Water Code Section
12578.1 this Board respectfully requests fihat the State Department
of Water Resources establish a maintenance district to operate
and maintain the improvements along the Sacramento River at the
approxima~e locatxon of Murphy Slough.
