RESQLUTION ORDERING AND_REQUESTING _CONSOT,ZDATIOI~T
WHEREAS~ an elec~ion wi1~ be held within Cous~.ty Service
Area No. 51 on March ~+~ 1975, for the purpose of setti:ng a maximum
tax rate~ and
WFLEREAS~ the school governing board elections wiZ1. be
held wi~hin the County of Butte on the same day~
NOW~ TH~RE~'ORE~ BE IT RESOI,VED~ that the Board o~'
Supervisors hereby orders ~hat the spec~al election in County
Service Area No. 51 on March 4, 1965~ establishing a maximum
tax rate, be consolidated with. the school governing board
elections ~o be he1.d in this County on the same day.
The Board of Supervisors hereby requests of the Catu~.ty
Superintendent of 8chool.s ~hat the special election in Gounty
Service Area No. 51 on March 4, 1975, establishing a maximum tax
rate~ be consolidated with the schools governing board election
to be held in this County on ~he same day.
The el.ection precincts, polling pl.aces, voting booths~
and election officials in each of ~he precincts, shall be the
same as provided for the schools governing board el.ection on
said day.
The county cle~k of Butte Cown.ty is hereby authorized
and znstructed to canvass and certify ~he precinet returns of
the election held in County Service Area No. 51 for the purpose
of estab~~shing the maxim~um tax rate and that a statement o~
results be mailed ~o the Board of Supervisors as soon as the
results o~ the canvass is determined.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Boa~d of Supervisors of the
Cour~ty o~' Butte~ State of California this lOth day of December ~
