HomeMy WebLinkAbout7421 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 I7 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 __ ___ ORDINANCE NO. 7U-2 AN ORDINANCE OF T~3:E COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AMENDING BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 506, AS AMENDED BY BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTS OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, da ordain that Section 3 of Butte County Ordinance No. 506 as amended by Butte County Ordinance No. 709 and known as the Butte County Setback Ordinance is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 3. A building line setback is hereby established ;along each side of every street, highway and xoad which is dedicate+ to the public use and is within the unincorporated area of this County. Such building Line setback shall be and it is hereby locate parallel to and on both sides of the established centerline of each such street, highway and road; and the space between the setback lines an either side of each such street,Yri.ghway and road shall constitute the setback zone. The setback lines and zones are here- by established as follows: (a) The setback line upon and along federali`aid,secondary routes now existing or hereafter established in Butte County shall be distant fifty-five (55) feet from and on both sides of the es- tablished centerline of each such route; and the space between the setback lines on either side of each such route shall constitute the setback zone for such routes which shall be one hundred ten (110) feet in width. (b) The set back line upon the following named and/or described county roads or county highways in the County of Butte shall be distant fifty-five (55) feet from and on both sides of the established centerline of each such county highway; and the space between the setback lines on either side of each of said aoun-Zy highways shall constitute the setback zone for such county highways which shall be one hundred ten (110} feet in width. Said 1 - 7 S~ s 8 9 10 I1 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 2I 22 23 ~` 24 251 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 county highways or county roads are named and/or described as follows, to wit: (1) East Avenue from its most westerly terminus, said terminus being on the westerly lines of Lot 10 as shown on t; map of Burson Tract and Lot 9 as shown on the map of Conners Subdivision, filed in the office of the County Recorder, County o Butte, in Map Book 7, page 14, and Map Book 16, page 22, respect- ively; thence in a general northeasterly direction to its intersection with the County Road known as Cohasset Road, FAS Route 1336. (c} On all other streets, highways and roads dedicated t the public use and within the unincorporated area of this County and along and adjacent to the same, the setback line shall be and is hereby located parallel to and distant fifty feet (50} from and on both. sides of the established centerline of each such street., highway and road, and the space between the setback lines on either side of each such street, highway and road shall constitute the setback zone along and adjacent to the same, which shall be one hundred feet (100) in width. This ordinance shall be and is hereby declared in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its passage,. and before the expiration of fifteen (15} days after its passage this ordinance shall be published once, with the names of the Board members voting for and against it, in a newspaper of general circulation painted and published in the County of Butte, State of California.
