AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 710 OF THE COUNTY OF BUfi1E,
ISNDWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE" FOR. TIE: FISCAL YEAR 1,62-63.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, do
ordain as follows:
1. That Ordinance No. 710 of the County of Butte is hereby amended as
follows:
(a) That Section No. 3, Subsection (A}, entitled "gor Classes with
Range Assignments" be amended to include the fallowing:

2. That Section l6 of said Ordinance No. 710, entitled "District

3, That. due to a change from part-time, to full-time District Attorney,
effective in January, 1963 and the leave of absence of the present District
Attorney, the County of Butte has been confronted with an emergency in
of
endeavoring to staff the office~District Attorney during the period prior to
January, 1963, and that this ordinance is for the ~mm~ediste preservation-ctf
the public peace, health and safety of the people of the County of Butte, aiid --
shall take effect immediately upon its adoption, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its adoption and passage, it shall be published with
the names of the ruembers voting for .and against the same, once, in a newspaper
published in the County of Butte, State of California.

State of California, at the regular meeting thereof on the 2nd day of
