WHEREAS, a porti.on of Manzanita Avenue is no longer necessary or re-
quired for road purposes; and
WHER~AS, pursuaz~t to the Streees and Highways Code, Section 960.1,
the Board finds that a poxti.on of Manzanita Avenue should be summarily vacated,
NOW, THEREF012E, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butfe, State of Ca7.i.fornia, as follows:
7'h.e followzng-described porta.on of Manzanita Avenue is hereby summarily
vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets and Highwaqs Code Section 950,1:
Being a portion of the F'ifteenth Subdivision of the John Bidwell Rancho
and a porCion of Manzanita Avenue as shown on that certain map entitled
"Fi.fteenCh Subdivision of the John, Bidwell Rancho" fiLed in the office
of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California, January 25,
1908 in Map Book 6 at page 48 and more particularly described as follows:
Cornmencing at the southwest corner of Lot 1 of said subdivisfon; Chence
N 48°39' E along the south li.ne of said Lot ], and the north line of said
Manzanita Avenue 45.41 feet to'the TRUE ~OTNT OF BEGINNING; thence con-
tinuing aiong said south line N 48°39' E, ~.OI.12 feet to the soueheast
corner of fhat certain parcel o~ ].and conveyed to Richard ~. WeCCer e ux
by deed recorded October 7, 1964, zn Book 1339 at page 411, Official
Records, Butte County, Cali.~ornia; thence leaving said soueh line of
said Lot 1 soueh along the southerly extension of the east line of said
Richard L. Wetter et ux parcel, 35.00 feet; thence S 67°15'S7f'47~ 82,31 feet
to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING,_
Containing an area of 0.03 acre, more or less.
