WHEREAS, this board was grieved ~0 learn of ~he dea~h
of 3ACK M. SC~iOLEY, retired Associate Stata Forest Ranger for
the California State Division of Forestry; and
WHEREAS, JACI~ M. SCHOLEY' served the State of California
with distinction and with unselfish devotion for 33 years, 26 of
which were with the Butte Ranger Unit, and
WHEREAS, JACK M. ~;CfiOLEY was a member of Warren Scott
Pos~t 9204-, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Oroville Host Lions
Glub.
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOL57ED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, ~`tate of California, as follows:
1. That said board hereby memorializes ifis appreciation
of the meritorious services ~endered to the State of Cali.forni.a and
the County of But~e by JACK M. SCHOLEY during his lifetime.
2. That the condolences and heartfelt sympathy of this
board. be extended to his wife, Janet, and that the clerk o~ th~.s
board forwa~d a certified copy o~ this resolution to her.
3. That the regular meeting of this board held on
3anuary 21, 1975, be adjourned in memory of J,ACK M. 5'CHOLEY.
